My Name is Kreussenheimer by Dale Preuss is a fictional story about the man Kevin Kreussenheimer. The book is the first volume of the life of Kevin Kreussenheimer, containing chapters 1–29. Kevin, or Mr. Kroy, as he is called by some, is a complex man; he's not the type of man for whom you can just know what is going on with him. Kevin is a father and grandfather, though he does not look as old as he seems. He's a man who is always planning five moves ahead, and while some things may seem accidental or a coincidence, it may all just be a grand plan by Kevin. This first volume tells us about his divorce from his wife, Joss, the loss of his daughter, and how he deals with that loss, as well as the people who come into his orbit as the story progresses. It's a story of love, loss, family, horror, heartbreak, action, mystery, and so much more.

The book is written in first-person pronouns, and different characters in the book get to narrate the story themselves; it's not just Kevin doing the narration. We can see what the characters are feeling and thinking; this makes the book unique and helps the readers understand what's going on. The book contains mystery, suspense, and death; while some may be accidental, others are not; family drama; and many more. The author also includes some dialogues in Russian, and he also translates them.

I enjoyed the character of Kevin Kreussenheimer to the fullest. He is like a mix of James Bond and a very loving father. He does all he can to protect his family, and he makes sure that they are well taken care of. For someone who has experienced loss and who himself has caused a lot of loss and pain to others, it is surprising how he still has such a deep well of love for others. It's an admirable quality.

I enjoyed the book; it's a completely fictional novel; it has the ingredients of a mystery; it's an action novel; and it even contains humor. The characters all played their roles well, and they made this book interesting. I commend the author for the arrangement of the book into three different parts and chapters. This first volume has set the stage for the remainder of the book, and I can't wait to see what happens next in the life of Kevin Kreussenheimer. I also commend the editor for the exceptional editing done on this book. There is nothing I dislike in this book.

I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars; it's a really enjoyable novel to read about Kevin and those who came into his orbit. I recommend this book to all lovers of fiction. Through the pages of this book, you'll get immersed in the life of this very intriguing, complex fictional character.

I thoroughly enjoyed Kevin Kreussenheimer's persona. He seems a cross between a devoted parent and James Bond. He makes sure his family is well taken care of and does everything in his power to keep them safe. It is astonishing that he still has such a great reservoir of love for others considering that he has suffered loss and has caused a great deal of loss and suffering to others. It is a commendable trait.

I am one of the very few people allowed to read the entire 'My Name is Kreussenheimer' story. Dale Preuss's writing style is unlike anything I've ever encountered. The first-person narratives from multiple points of view allow each character to be developed in intricate detail — the attribute that I admire most in any story. Kevin Kreussenheimer pulled me in like a powerful gravitational force, like those in his orbit. It took several weeks to read the eleven individual short novels grouped into four volumes. It never seemed long; my anticipation always piqued. I waited impatiently for the final touches on the last volume. It did not disappoint. As Kevin is quoted, "Didn't see that coming." The pacing of the series-wide ebbs and flows mirrors life: soul-crushing loss to high tension drama to the warmth of loving relationships to laugh-out-loud humor to high-intensity action to strained family dynamics to unexpected cliffhangers. In other words, life's twisting rollercoaster ride — amplified. Spoiler alert #1: Subtle details in 'Volume I' are a prelude to the very dark underlying conspiratorial mysteries (plural) revealed later. Spoiler alert #2: Some sections are raw, even cringeworthy, some rival steamy romance novels, some are morally uplifting, some seem right out of a travel magazine, some could be referenced by those promoting self-help or crisis counseling. The frequency and oscillating genres fit together like surgical gloves. The style left me intrigued for what's coming next. Spoiler alert #3: The only chapter that didn't hold my attention had everything to do with high school football (much later in Volume III). My husband read it, recalled his glory days, and couldn't get enough. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is wrong. Spoiler alert #4: Kevin keeps his black past at bay. After hit after hit, he's drawn back until he rescues Rachel from the grips of freezing to death. Everything seems rosy until, "Protect her like John did." The collection would make great movies (plural), something in the same category as Middle-earth, teenage wizards, international spies, vampires, treasure hunters, and filthy-rich dominating womanizers. Ratings most certainly R. Truly a literary masterpiece, I will be selecting 'My Name is Kreussenheimer - Volume I' for my book club when it's my turn to choose. It's that good.

This novel is not something one would expect...a first-person memoir by a fairly ordinary guy, going through life, coping with his issues. That makes it unusual. The narrator's thoughtful take on life makes it more interesting. Good job.

I got the sense that Kevin Kreussenheimer really enjoyed writing this book. I can even imagine it being down on paper or online within months. Even if it took longer than that, which it probably did, it had an underlying feel of optimism, love, and of a man who is both carefree and caring. The story begins in June 2011 with the completion of his divorce from Jocelyn. It all seems amicable. Is the illustration at the start of this chapter symbolic of their divorce? I think so. This family, with strong Russian roots, is about to face a journey of utter grief, turmoil, and refreshing highs. The reader is there when his various children get married, and he is the rock on whom they lean in times of stress. He is a family man whose role as a father extends beyond his 'blood brood,' as the reader will find out. I love the feeling of sincerity and moral code, without the aspects of religion or hypocrisy. People gravitate towards him. It's refreshing to read the story through the eyes of other characters; it offers a different perspective. The small pictures are fun: they seem to have a sort of 1970s feel about them, at least in my opinion. If I could voice a tiny criticism, it would be that the book is too long. I lost focus a few times and had to pull myself back in. The book is permeated with snow, cold, Russian words and phrases, family ties, money, and his interminable headaches: poor man. I found the editing to be perfect. It was not an action-packed read filled with unbelievable moments, but one grounded in the real world, with scenarios that resonate with life today. It was very well balanced, and I recommend it to an adult readership. Despite my petty complaint regarding the length of the book, I will award it with a full five out of five stars.

One can find a wonderful fictional story about a complex man by reading the book "My Name is Kreussenheimer" by Dale Preuss. The story follows the type of man unlikely to whom one can just know what is going on with him.

My Name is Kreussenheimer by Dale Preuss The story of a husband, Kevin and his wife Joss walking out of the courtroom after their divorce was declared to be final. Kevin finds out that his wife has already been seeing a man called Scott for some time and he is understandably very upset about it. The story goes on to tell all the heartache and love, hate and all sorts of drama in their family life. I did not read further than the first chapter, because I do not tend to read or listen to stories where Jesus Christ’s name is miss used. Sounds like a good story. Congratulations on BOTD

Dale Preuss’ book, “My Name is Kreussenheimer,” sounds like an interesting story about a complex character. The loss of a child is the most horrific event any parent can deal with and divorce is also traumatic. Kevin having caused a lot of loss and pain to others sounds ominous. I enjoy reading a book written from a first-person perspective, as it provides an opportunity to gain insight into the characters’ thoughts and feelings and not only their words. The description of Kevin as a mix of James Bond and a very loving father sounds fascinating and describing it as a story of love, loss, family, horror, heartbreak, action and mystery just adds to the fascination.

My first impression of the book was the illustrations—I loved that unique flare. My second impression was the kindle formatting is odd for me—it’s in sections in the same page and the typeset is very small and not seemingly adjustable. So your review was great as I wasn’t sure I got through all the sections. At least I know what it’s about now!

In My Name is Kreussenheimer by Dale Preuss, the author seems to have created a great protagonist. A mix of a loving father and James Bond is interesting and a tad bit intriguing. With a wide range of themes, I am interested in understanding how he copes with the loss of his daughter. Great review!

He is like a mix of James Bond and a very loving father. -That's a unique combination, because James Bond could never pull off being a very loving father, in his line of work. You've mentioned that Kevin also was a grand father and had divorced his wife. That's a lot of drama for one person to handle and I'm intrigued to find out how he did it. Thank you for a wonderful review.

In the book sample from Dale Preuss’s MY NAME IS KREUSSENHEIMER, Kevin is a man with secrets whose profession is a strategist. Kevin Kreusseheimer is facing divorce, his family is falling apart and he is protecting a runaway teenager who entered his life. This book contains suspense and emotional depth.

"My Name is Kreussenheimer" by Dale Preuss seems like a gripping and beautifully crafted read. The author pulls readers into Kevin Kreussenheimer's tangled world of love, loss, and mystery. The story, told through shifting first person voices, makes the book, which is the first of a series, engaging and compelling. I like the part that describes "Mr. Kroy" as a family man; a man that loves, protects, and provides for his family. Congrats on BOTD.

“My Name is Kreussenheimer Volume I: Be Someone Else's Putty” by Dale Preuss is a fictional mystery and action story about a man named Kevin Kreussenheimer or Mr. Kroy, and it covers the first volume of his life. The story builds over eleven books grouped in four volumes. Kevin is a complex man that keeps his cards close to his vest, so it is very hard to figure out what is going on in his head. Kevin is a father of four and a grandfather, though he does not look as old as he probably is. He's a man who is always planning five moves ahead, so he must be a very good chess player, or as alluded to, a CIA agent. While some things may seem accidental or a coincidence, it may all just be in Kevin’s grand plan. This first volume tells us about his divorce from his wife, Joss, the loss of his daughter TK, that drowned after falling through the ice on the lake and Kevin stripped down to his underwear and dove into the hole to find and rescue her. Kevin did not handle her loss very well and he also was very upset that his ex-wife Joss had accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Scott. Kevin really wanted to reconcile with Joss, but he never had a chance. I suspect Kevin's job, his temper and his willingness to fight anyone that upset him probably ruined his marriage. Kevin rescues a teenage runaway and everything in his life changes. Kevin alters his life to accommodate her world, a complex set of friends, their moms, and school. He protects her from known and unknown threats, as only a retired assassin can. In addition to Kevin, different characters in the book also get to narrate the story themselves. We can read what the characters are feeling and thinking, and this makes the book unique and helps the readers understand what is happening. The book contains mystery, suspense, death and family drama. The book is distinctive since it includes dialogues in Russian that are translated by the author. Kevin is like a mix of James Bond and a very loving father. He does all he can to protect his family, and he makes sure that they are well taken care of and he has a deep well of love for others. for others, a very commendable quality. I really liked the sample, and I plan to read the rest of the book and then think about reading the other three volumes.
