About The Author
Dale Preuss
Embark on a compelling journey through the imaginative world in My Name is Kreussenheimer, where captivating narratives come to life. An intricate weave of anguish and euphoria, anxiety and cerenity, boundless love and bottomless repugnance, truth and misinformation, decisive action and calm resolve.
Dale Preuss had a big problem: housebound due to a medical condition. For months, he was “Woe is me” until typing out a series of dreams. Heroes truly come in many forms; Dale had a purpose. After 14 years of writing, editing, rewriting, expanding, contracting, yadda, yadda, yadda, he has the finished product. Available now, the first three books of the eleven. The protagonist may have begun loosely based on Dale, but Kevin Kreussenheimer is way cooler, a person you’d love to consider a friend, a person one should be scared to death of.
Dale’s early adult life was greatly affected by world events: Nuclear attack threat, Vietnam POWs, hostages in Tehran and its failed helicopter rescue, double-digit inflation, and the wall in Berlin. Marriage, divorce, marriage, three very different kids, three very different careers, active outdoor endeavors, and the catastrophic end to it all with crushing headaches, LTD, death of his spouse/mother of their children. Hit after hit after hit. Then writing, sculpted by his history. Dale may have forgotten what he had for breakfast, but he can quote lyrics and movie lines from decades gone by. He incorporates that trait into the story, usually as a humorous quip. He writes where every sentence counts.
